“Sleep deprivation is literally brain damage.”
Millionaire anti-aging entrepreneur Bryan Johnson warned social media users with his latest post. He stated that per research among young participants,
One night of bad sleep increased levels of protein called S100B by 20%. The same level as caused by a traumatic brain injury.”
How does the stressor protein get triggered in sleep-deprived adults? The anti-aging crusader states that the protein spiked due to bad sleep enters the bloodstream and potentially leads to neuronal death. “How do we stop this from happening?” the millionaire entrepreneur asked. He stated, “Get high-quality sleep.” Johnson reminded his followers, “You are a professional sleeper.” He further added,
“Bed time is the most important appointment of the day. Be on time.”
Tesla’s billionaire boss, Elon Musk, who brags about putting on 100+ hours of grind, agreed with the warning on sleep deprivation. Most billionaire and millionaire entrepreneurs glorify the hustle culture and burning the midnight oil. At what cost? Overworking has killed several youngsters in the corporate world. The EY fresher who passed away due to work stress and the suicide of 25-year-old IIT-IIM grad who worked as McKinsey consultant ignited a huge debate in the social media but got soon buried under the cacophony of proponents of a 70, 80, 90, and 100+ hour work week.
